Based on the player Manson was at the time of the trade (declining defensively) that was amazing value in that trade. I remember people saying Manson's defense was terrible the year he was traded.

Manson was always overrated defensively and underrated offensively.

Been saying this for a while, but I’d love to see a LaCombe-Helleson pairing. That could be a legit top pairing for next season.

It’s a shame that Cronin is completely uninterested in trying something that could be a long term fit and a fun match.

He’d rather continue to force a 35 year old Gudas onto the top pairing and it wouldn’t be surprising if that were still the case next season. As sad as that sounds

Like last year where he was insistent on having Fowler and Silf on the top PP unit, despite it being pretty obvious that both wouldn't be around for much longer lol.
