How about a Knicks t-shirt?
Throw in one of those Knicks colored trash cans.

I’m not going to get any sleep am I….
If the rumors of the bidding war are true he has to move now. No waiting to see who's available where in the draft.PV will hold off moving him until the draft imo
Curious what Ducks fans think McTavish's best position is. His defensive impact is poor and I'm intrigued by what he could be as a winger. Maybe fits into that Tkachuk archetype. Although not on their level.
No big trades are going to happen. The boards restricting new threads because of all the action has cursed us all.I’m not going to get any sleep am I….
Depth yes, top 6 we should welcome additions.I'm not sure how the Blues could be in the market for a top 6 winger too with the forward depth we already have

We’re about to get the great Joshua Roy

AI is sweet! Is there a human in there? They lost Chabot, Sanderson and Kleven all at once. He took over number 1 duties and played his offside and they kept rolling. There is simply more to is than stats. How about you dive into Mactavish. I bet his metrics dont paint a picture of an incredibly valuable piece. But there is also more to it, potential, tool set etc.RD Spence
- 5'11 and 188 lbs
- Games: 73
- Pts: 31 (7g + 24a)
- +/-: +15
- ATOI: 18:44
- CF%: 60.4
- oZS%: 67.5
Spence was highly sheltered on a team that's been to the playoffs for two consecutive seasons. Anaheim had to overspend with a 1st round pick on rental RD John Carlson to back into the playoffs (thanks San Jose!).
RD Spence doesn't move the needle if he is going to be highly sheltered. Anaheim has prospect RD Luneau who needs time with the NHL club as he has been developing in the AHL for the past two seasons. Luneau is a 6'2 and 209 lbs offensive defenseman. Which means Luneau would be using up those sheltered situations.
Also, Anaheim has LD Zellwegger. Zell has played RD in juniors, the AHL, and NHL. Unfortunately, our GM prefers defensemen to stick to their natural shooting side... despite using RD Moore at LD this past season. Zell had 22 pts (7g, 15a) on 16:59 ATOI, an oZS% of 55.8, and rarely played on the PP. We technically have a Spence on the team if the GM would allow Zell to play RD. Except Zell isn't highly sheltered like Spence.

First round picks are not all equal.
The 25th overall pick isn't more valuable than a top-10 pick. The further you get away from the #1 pick, the talent level exponentially drops. Here is a 10-year study by Shuckers, from 1988-1997 that recorded picks and if they played 200 NHL games. In 1988, the first round had only 21 selections. In 1997, the first round had 26 selections. The median first round for the study would be pick 24 picks. That 25th round pick would be designated as a 2nd round pick for the 10-year study.

But they have Moore and Luneau to fill the bottom 2 pairs. They need someone to play with LaCombe on the top pair.Because Anaheim is losing Trouba and Gudas on RD as more physical RD types, and Schneider can replace one of those guys. I don't think it's all that complicated.
He wouldn't, but the gap between Moore and Schneider is smaller than the gap between McTavish and Pastujov/Sidorov/etc and if they're going to overpay for a player in FA, they might as well keep McTavish and pay Trouba. Plus that means either Moore (who just signed for 2 years and has looked good in limited time) and Luneau (who's looked good in AHL and needs NHL time) would be pushed out.Why would McTavish return a top pair RD?
