I just dont think Rangers have much of what id want... pending something unexpected. Would have rather just sat on McTavish and hope he regained confidence in offseason and had a strong season next year ( i think he will regardless, just not on anaheim)

Schneider is only a RFA, rights don’t hold much value.

Trochek won’t go west.

RFA rights? absolutely they do; especially when he's 2 years away from UFA.

A Schneider <-> McTavish deal makes a ton of sense, especially if the Rangers are sending Trocheck elsewhere. Maybe NY adds a bit; but it's 2 guys that have taken a step back in hopes that a change of scenery helps them both.
