Islands in the stream.
Check the movie out. It went over how it became a cultural phenomenon and how at the time it was revolutionary. You’d probably really appreciate it.
Oh yeah. Don't think I've seen it but so into Belushi and the gang read some bios. and a book on SNL Just such a bunch of characters. Shout out to SCTV as well that had a long stint here right in Edmontown

Just came out this year and I think it flew under the radar. The story about Belushis first show was featured, pretty interesting as he didn’t sign his SNl contract until right before the first live broadcast. If you’ve read books and stuff about that era, you’d be into it for sure.

Yeh I remember being proud as a young un, that Sctv came come from edmonton. :)

This is a good movie too about the rise of National Lampoon. Lots of talent crossover and influence on SNL's start-up: https://www.netflix.com/title/80107084

McDavid has always been a back half guy though.

I kind of feel like Connor is playing a little bit like he's not getting up enough for regular season games.

The regular season this year doesn't have the drama of the last couple of years (last year the sky was falling and it looked like everything was over in October). I don't know if chasing Harts and Art Rosses means the same thing to him.

It's clear I think only one trophy interests him now, getting so close to it and now having to play these meh regular season games.

Leon is focused on showing people he's worth the contract he was given.

Interesting stat. First time we’ve won back to back games where McD went pointless.

Feel bad for Brown as I don’t think it falls on his shoulders. McD did also get the 3rd assist on Nuges goal tonight.

Fun game to be at. Oil are undefeated in the Krak Haus games I've attended. This is a fun building and a great sports town. Picture perfect road game first period. This was a dominating game made close by Oil mistakes.

Draisaitl was a machine again tonight. This stretch is as good as any he's put together. His line 2 running mates were also excellent with smart, heavy play. Loved Nurse's game tonight and Kulak as well. J. Skinner was very good with a goal. Maybe more impressive was a mid-range rocket wrist shot that clanged a post. Hasn't pouted with his minutes or deployment. Good effort tonight. McDavid never got it going. Looked sluggish and just not sharp. Right from warm-up didn't see him really fly into it like normal.

I like how the Kraken package game summaries for their fans: Postgame Instant Analysis: Seattle vs Edmonton | Seattle Kraken

Weird schedule to play a home road back-to-back with the team in Pacific Time Zone for 24 hours then fired off to Eastern Time Zone for a grinding road trip.

Nice that you were there! Hard to tell on tv, many Oil fans in attendance?
