Well we now know who will dethrone Suzuki on the payroll hierarchy. Hutson is un-f***ing-believable. The posters who convinced me last year of his talent, you are the stars. Now my friends and family can't stop pointing out how I was right he'd be a menace in his first season.

I'm almost in tears just from the joy of having him wear the CH! Feels good

Calling it, Hutson is gonna be a Hall of Famer.

It reminds me of when they were doing the Leafs rebuild when Shanahan got there and then they got Matthews and Marner and they started killing it and the Leafs went "f*** This!". lol

Similar thing is happening here, Hutson puts us on levels that we could have never imagined. Anything is possible, folks! f*** Scheiffer!
We should still sell at the deadline and avoid the Laffs mistake. I'n fine with signing Evans the others should be gone.

Lane Hutson is such an amazing player. He wins all the loose pucks and has to be the most deceptive player ever. He's a menace on the right side near the net on the pp.

- Suzuki showing yet again he's a great 1 C.
- Ghule playing like a beast.
- Caufield always dangerous.
- Slaf doing better but too many fancy no look passes
- I still think we keep Armia (and Evans)
- We need someone who can actually play over Pez
- Dach working hard enough to get lucky
- Matheson/Anderson/Newhook flying
- Struble hitting to hurt
- Carrier invisible in a good way
- Serrif playing mart
- Still can't stand Dvorak lol

That is all
I would add

- Armia with the phone boot dangles on the boards hoarding the puck on a elastic tied to his stick 😁

We have 3 days of rest followed by another back to back against tough opponents.
Are we the team with the most back to back games this season? I think I heard this but I can't find the info.

Ugly win, but that's the only way it would have been possible with this schedule.

The mental mistakes were there as expected, but the team fought through them and battled instead of laying an egg

To me, this win is almost in the same league as the road wins against the last 4 cup champs due to the scheduling conditions presented.

They earned their rest after this one.

Good game

Always looks better with weird colored eyebrows painted on their faces.

Mesar should not be written off and don't forget Beck and Engstrom
Indeed! Beck is going to be good.

Engstrom is showing he's highly likely going to be a legit NHL player here or elsewhere. I see him having more value than Barron on the market in 2 years if we don't have a spot for him. I love how he plays.

That depends who it is. Cause if we want to make a go in the playoffs, someone like Armia we have to keep. But we can get rid of Savard. Same with Dvorak. Laine I'm not sure. Cause I feel like his body is breaking down. So I would be worried to re-sign him.

Gary Bettman and the league are looking at making changes to the Habs schedule post-4 Nations tourney. More back-to-backs are planned to be added as the Habs continue winning.
