They're not.
I think we are though.

Literally 11 on Bob's.Boldy almost feels like the forgotton man; and yet he's pretty high up on just about everyone's list. He's in a lot of top 10s, and just outside on others.

I said this the other day, but if Shero has a brainfarts, outsmarts himself and takes Kakko, there's one of the paths to Panarin. If the Rangers somehow get Hughes, you may well see a push for Panarin.
Could very well be, but I'm sure it was a divided scouting room, as Bob said it was most for most teams. As of two weeks ago, Hughes was still ranked first on the Rangers list according to those I spoke with.
Not that things don't change, but that's what was being said (as a point of reference).
Not to me, he's not. Am goldie for Boldy.Boldy almost feels like the forgotton man; and yet he's pretty high up on just about everyone's list. He's in a lot of top 10s, and just outside on others.
Agreed. If you are a Panarin guy, hope and pray for Shero to second guess himself.I was thinking the same thing the other day...if you are a panarin guy the #1 way for that to happen is for us to end up with hughes. IMO if we get hughes then its 100% we sign panarin to play with him. I can't see NJ not picking him #1 but if...

Pretty much what Bob said, yep!Certainly possible.
While I think 80-85 percent of teams probably have Hughes first, I would expect the numbers to be lower within each of those organizations.
According to Bob, the deciding factor for many teams was just to be safe and stick with the guy deemed the consensus number 1 for a year or two now. Was VERY divided among scouts in the room though. When it's real close I think again you may see teams deciding that center versus wing may be the tie breaker...

Newhook still in that 13-14 range. If he’s a target, he’s reachable by trading up.
If Newhook played in the Q last season, or if he was born in the U.S. and played for the national program, I think he pushes himself into that 4-7 conversation.
Like Krebs, he slides a little because of a few additional questions. But there's your big swing pick.

At one point wasn't Suzuki a definitive top 10 prospect in this years draft? Also maybe the fact his brother had a pretty nice year as a Habs prospect bump up his stock a bit???probably not but maybe some scouts still think he's a top 10/15 pick.I don't see him falling beyond 10 unless something crazy happens before the Nucks pick.
OTOH, is anyone else surprised that Ryan Suzuki is still getting a ton of love?
that is a wow! Damn. No way he is even there for our dallas pickDorofeyev at 82 wow
