Rather Flyers though then somebody behind Bruins. Now we hope 5 is the sweet spot for winning the draft lottery. Hopefully the Flyers don't win it.

Does anyone believe Desnoyers will be available 5/6?We have an 17 % chance of top two
Zero chance at 3 & 4
24% chance at 5
44 % chance at 6
14% chance at 7
Crazy but we have a 58% chance of going back
Kinda sucks but if we get 6 that should be fine
At 7 it’s getting hairy ~ gotta think O’Brien what doctor ordered but you never know
I’d like to just stay at 5 at this point lol
6th would a big sigh of relief thats a desnoyers martone or frondell. We have an 17 % chance of top two

Depends how they view Hagens.Does anyone believe Desnoyers will be available 5/6?
I seen Desnoyers up close and he was definitely heavier looking then 172 lbs.
There is a possibility but the Flyers are very interested at pick 4 and he seems to be the primary riser in the class. If the lottery shuffles the order and the Bruins somehow get higher than Philly, that is the only chance I see. I don't quite understand the math, but I think that is nearly impossible.Does anyone believe Desnoyers will be available 5/6?
If you believe that 17% is “nearly impossible” then spot on.There is a possibility but the Flyers are very interested at pick 4 and he seems to be the primary riser in the class. Keep Desnoyers away from Boston, bruins need high end offensive talent.Does anyone believe Desnoyers will be available 5/6?
Watching Philly or the 4th spot will interesting where it ends the first week of May as wellKeep Desnoyers away from Boston, bruins need high end offensive talent.
Desnoyers is a physical 2 way threat but his offence seems to have limited offensive upside compared to the rest.
At this point I’m done with drafting only the 2 way reliable guys we have so many and it has not translated to much success.
The era of hard nosed teams are over the 2011 and 2019 blues were the last of those types of teams, the rest have all been high skill teams with lots of talent. Aka manipulate the LTIR before TD.
I either want
Hagens and his speed, playmaking
Frondell with his IQ and elite shot
Martone with his puck protection and quick hands in tight.
If bruins want a 2 way player trade for another 1st and select Martin or Spence or cootes or better yet just get a shutdown dman that does his job correctly like fiddler or amico.
I’m pretty confident if the draft order stays briere will take Desnoyers you look at the build of their core offence it’s pretty much all 2 way or high energy guys (konecny/ cates/ couts/ foerster/ brink/ Tippett ) same with recent draft pick luchanko they seem to have a type. Mitchkov was a one off because no way they were gonna pass up on that opportunity.
F’d up was winning in overtimeI still can’t believe this got f***ed up
Only the Bruins![]()

I’m an O’Brien guy and if we needed a winger I’d be fine with Eklund6th would a big sigh of relief thats a desnoyers martone or frondell.

And then wait 3 more years to truly judge especially for a guy like O'Brien, who everyone says will take longer and some say he is going to be better then some of the guys we have been considering the top 6.Right now it's a little annoying. But I say wait and see who they draft before we make any sort of early call on whether that extra point really proved damaging or not.

I've already said it, but I feel this top 6 has become more of a top 8. And maybe for me it's starting to become three tiers.
Schaeffer
Misa
Frondell
Hagens
Desnoyers
Eklund
O'Brien
Martone
I like where we are at. I won't complain with anyone on this list. I will complain about McQueen. I just won't talk about it if it is Mrtka until I see him play, but he does not sound like he fills our most critical needs which are skill and offensive talent.
I see it same but because we need a C and are at worst 7 and are this high I don’t count EklundAnd then wait 3 more years to truly judge especially for a guy like O'Brien, who everyone says will take longer and some say he is going to be better then some of the guys we have been considering the top 6.

Excellent post, and normally, I would agree, but Desnoyers has so many layers to his game and is so solid mentally, that I still want him as a cornerstone player.Keep Desnoyers away from Boston, bruins need high end offensive talent.

there are a few draft experts who think jake o'brien will end up in the top 5.I’m an O’Brien guy and if we needed a winger I’d be fine with Eklund
Get 4 or 6 likely Frondell or Martone and I’m happy
I think Eklund and O'Brien are the two obvious choices, and I would not be shocked if one of them or Mrtka go top 6 and one of the presumed top 6 falls to us.No way that's automatic pink slip material . Hes outta here!
