It's all so clear to me now.

Or not,

We have an 17 % chance of top two

Zero chance at 3 & 4

24% chance at 5
44 % chance at 6
14% chance at 7

Crazy but we have a 58% chance of going back

Kinda sucks but if we get 6 that should be fine

At 7 it’s getting hairy ~ gotta think O’Brien what doctor ordered but you never know

I’d like to just stay at 5 at this point lol

Does anyone believe Desnoyers will be available 5/6?

There is a possibility but the Flyers are very interested at pick 4 and he seems to be the primary riser in the class. If the lottery shuffles the order and the Bruins somehow get higher than Philly, that is the only chance I see. I don't quite understand the math, but I think that is nearly impossible.

If you believe that 17% is “nearly impossible” then spot on.

Keep Desnoyers away from Boston, bruins need high end offensive talent.
Desnoyers is a physical 2 way threat but his offence seems to have limited offensive upside compared to the rest.

At this point I’m done with drafting only the 2 way reliable guys we have so many and it has not translated to much success.
The era of hard nosed teams are over the 2011 and 2019 blues were the last of those types of teams, the rest have all been high skill teams with lots of talent. Aka manipulate the LTIR before TD.

I either want
Hagens and his speed, playmaking
Frondell with his IQ and elite shot
Martone with his puck protection and quick hands in tight.

If bruins want a 2 way player trade for another 1st and select Martin or Spence or cootes or better yet just get a shutdown dman that does his job correctly like fiddler or amico.

I’m pretty confident if the draft order stays briere will take Desnoyers you look at the build of their core offence it’s pretty much all 2 way or high energy guys (konecny/ cates/ couts/ foerster/ brink/ Tippett ) same with recent draft pick luchanko they seem to have a type. Mitchkov was a one off because no way they were gonna pass up on that opportunity.

Watching Philly or the 4th spot will interesting where it ends the first week of May as well

As of today my guesstimate
Sharks - Schneider
Chicago - Misa
Nashville - Hagens
Philadelphia- Desnoyers
Boston - Frondell
Kraken - Martone

I still can’t believe this got f***ed up

Only the Bruins 🤦‍♂️
F’d up was winning in overtime
They are in a very good spot
17% chance for Any forward
14 % chance likely O’Brien
58% chance one of Hagens, Frondell, Martone, or Desnoyers

In February they were 16th

Spectacular tank - 33 days

I can still see them ending up 1 or 2 and two months of Misa worry

Picking 6 we just get the left over of Frondell, Martone, or Desnoyers (I’m up with that)

The Paul Pierce approach - falls in your lap

doubtful

He likely is their preference after the top 2 but all 6 I would take

O’Brien & Eklund I’m on board with In top 8 depending C or W

Right now it's a little annoying. But I say wait and see who they draft before we make any sort of early call on whether that extra point really proved damaging or not.
And then wait 3 more years to truly judge especially for a guy like O'Brien, who everyone says will take longer and some say he is going to be better then some of the guys we have been considering the top 6.

I've already said it, but I feel this top 6 has become more of a top 8. And maybe for me it's starting to become three tiers.

Schaeffer
Misa

Frondell
Hagens
Desnoyers

Eklund
O'Brien
Martone

I like where we are at. I won't complain with anyone on this list. I will complain about McQueen. I just won't talk about it if it is Mrtka until I see him play, but he does not sound like he fills our most critical needs which are skill and offensive talent.

Correct, 100%.

I see it same but because we need a C and are at worst 7 and are this high I don’t count Eklund

My tiers
Schaefer
Misa

Hagens
Desnoyers
Martone
Frondell

O’Brien
Eklund

Excellent post, and normally, I would agree, but Desnoyers has so many layers to his game and is so solid mentally, that I still want him as a cornerstone player.

I’m an O’Brien guy and if we needed a winger I’d be fine with Eklund
Get 4 or 6 likely Frondell or Martone and I’m happy
there are a few draft experts who think jake o'brien will end up in the top 5.
i believe @DominicT is a big fan. as more of a stat watcher than viewer of
his game, my only question was his EV production (had a ton of PP points).

NHLCSB has him at 6'1.5" and plenty of room/time to fill out the frame.
