I also included him playing in the U18 Worlds in that comment not just one playoff series. I think UT will e a good thing if you get to see him in multiple environments
I know, but that's another what 6-10 games. It would not affect me changing his draft status. It might affect how I determine what his development needs are, but not his value or ranking.

The guy put up 134 points in 67 games. Seguin put up 106. Misa will score 60 points in the NHL next year.

In reading all of these scouting reports and analysis I think my choice for say the 4th pick is Anton Frondell, he seems a sure bet to be at least a 2nd line center at worst. His size and overall game ensures he will be in the NHL sooner then later if he so chooses.

I doubt he hits 60 unless he plays Wing with Celebrini or Bedard and stays healthy which neither of them did and I suspect will happen to any 18 year old playing in the NHL next year. Bedard in his 2nd year will probably get 63-65 points being a so called generational player. Celebrini is clearly a better prospect than Misa and will barely do it.

He's growing on me as well. Ive always liked Misa, but I wouldn't be upset at all with Frondell in the fold.
In the end if the Bruins can stay in the top 4, they should come away with a dam good prospect.
Misa
Schaefer
Frondell
Hagens
Desnoyers
Martone

McQueen is one of the biggest players in this Draft class. Standing at 6’5″, at only 192 lbs, there is still potential for McQueen to fill out his frame. He uses his frame to his advantage in front of the net, and physicality is another strength of his game. He also is a very skilled forward who can beat Goaltenders cleanly with his shot. Some scouts believe that if McQueen was able to stay healthy this season, he would be in contention for the first overall pick.

However, as with most prospects, there are some concerns. McQueen has suffered from multiple back injuries throughout his Junior Hockey career. This concern is perhaps being amplified by what happened to Columbus Blue Jackets prospect, and former fourth overall pick Cayden Lindstrom, who has missed the entirety of this year with a back injury. While McQueen’s production in the WHL has been solid, he is also one of the older players in this class, and may not have as much time to develop as other, younger players. It is hard to project when McQueen’s name will be called in June, however teams will be excited by his high ceiling.

Name the local kids Sweeney has drafted. I’ll spot you Grizz (who was a home run pick where he was drafted). Who else?

Sweeney didn't draft Grzelcyk. He was drafted in 2012 under Chiarelli. To answer the question, Sweeney has drafted just one local kid, in the 6th round:

2020 6th Round - Riley Duran - Woburn

Yeah my bad. Appreciate you making my point for me better than my clumsy attempt.

And if you consider Vermont Local 2024 4th round Elliot Groenewold, and he had a great freshman year fwiw

One of Frondell / Eklund / Martone would be great, assuming we have the 4th pick.
Eklund reminds me of Willy Nylander.
Once his body matures and he gets up to 180 lbs he will be able to handle the rigors of playing in the NHL.

Martone I like and he’s my guy but in 94 questions he has never read or seen Harry Potter ?

However he does put ketchup on steak - medium rare at that so I forgive him

Better yet, what house has he been sorted into? Who cares about production, that's the info that should be the determining factor. Do I really want to spend a top 5 pick on a Hufflepuff?

I'm not sure I can forgive ketchup on steak. Gonna need to know how he feels about crusts on pizza and sandwiches.

Don't worry they probably won't be any good next season either .
This train is heading in one direction unless they hit big in FA on 4-5 NHL forwards. Its laughable to think this is just a re-tool.

The fact that this scouting staff is leading the rebuild is a farce. Sweeney did his job by blowing it up now fire Neely give Sweeney a promotion and hire a new GM.

Let the new GM hire the coach and staff.

I was thinking about this the other day - how does he compare to Sequin?

SCENARIO: Bruins get 2OA, but Misa is already taken with the 1OA pick. Who are you picking?
You have to take the D at that point. If he can help the awful power play it would be huge. Hopefully he has some clue about where the D zone is unlike Lohrei. That said, Sweeney will probably take Hagens.

Too me Misa needs to be the pick if in anyway possible. Including trading up for him. San Jose needs a D, if you are 4th offer Lohrei and a another 1st in a coming season and get Misa. If they stay at 4 I would take Martone and offer sheet Rossi or Vilardi
