Leonard is a foolish boy who appears to write NHL checks he can't cover.

First NHL game he takes an open ice borderline high run at Viel. How in the hell he didn't have to answer for that is a topic for another day.

Here he takes issue with a Kuraly hit and ends up throwing a couple of pillow punches that made me cringe. Then eats a legitimate solid shot.

He could do himself real harm trying to play the tough guy. Talk about putting a target on your back.

Maybe he thought McIlrath would step in for him again.

Edmonton is really eating it on the Frederick trade.

Yes, he might be healthy and play well in the playoffs. Might.

Meanwhile he's played a grand total of 7 minutes for the Oil. Ouch.

Even Montreal??? Yikes.
I don't believe Montreal has much of a chance. I will say I am happy they are getting better as a team because it is more fun for the rivalry when both teams are good.

I like Linus so I will cheer for Ottawa. Winnipeg is looking good. I am half Canadian and it is time for a team from the great country of Canada to win the cup.

Who will you cheer for if we get a Montreal-Colorado Stanley Cup Final?

I'll be cheering for Charlie Coyle!
