IIRC correctly he’s always been called it… something in my head tells me it was family given, not a hockey thing. I may have dreamt it though

Western Michigan and Denver are tied 2-2 with 2 mins to go after coming back from down 2-0. Wright scores to tie the game on Slukynsky. Kings on Kings crime.

Western Michigan was all over Denver for the whole game except for the last 10 mins. Denver only had 10 shots in the 3rd period. Such a crazy turn of events.

Amazing game! Western Michigan with the 2OT winner. Slukynsky takes the Broncos to the Championship game as a true freshman!

While Denver didn’t have too many shots, Slukynsky came up with some big saves when it mattered.
The future in goal looks pretty bright for the Kings!

Can't really blame Slukynsky too much for the goals either. One was after a blocked shot went right back to the shooter. The other was a goal mouth scramble.
