Basha sounds like he has good potential and offensive instincts. Rated first round by some so I’m optimistic about this pick at 41. Our scouts probably saw lots of him being a western kid especially if they were following Lindstrom.

The interesting thing about Bob's list is one of the scouts he consulted with in making it thinks Battaglia should be a 1st round pick.

I think with the trades we've made the play is drafting high (likely higher than 9) for the next 2 years and there's going to be better centres available. We saw teams go super forward heavy in the top 8 this year leaving Zayne Parekh, Anton Silayev, Sam Dickinson, Zeev Buium who have better ceilings than guys like Catton Iginla and arguably Lindstrom.

What sre you even talking about this has been a great draft so far. You wanted to trade up for Celebrini? Or multiple 1sts to move up to #4 for an injury prone C that most scouts don’t even project as a 1C? Have some faith in Conroy my god we’ve gotten tons of great value this draft and will get a C with our higher first next year

Kiviharju has fallen further than Kylington did in what's considered a weaker draft year. I might wait a bit longer before considering taking him
