Broberg: I love the offensive tools, the skating and the willingness to gamble a little. He's often still on the raw side, as he tries to figure out which pieces go where and when they should go there, but IMO he's the second best defenseman in the draft behind Byram. Still has some work to do on picking his spots and his transition game isn't polished, but the potential is there for a top pairing defenseman.
York: Great vision, moves the puck exceptionally well, makes smart decisions on offense. Not necessarily a natural shooter, and I think his offensive game is going to lean heavy on the assists and playmaking. Good skater who is more mobile and agile than he is straight ahead fast. He's undersized so his ability to handle bigger/stronger competition will be something to keep an eye on. Not quite as likely to be a top pair defenseman as Broberg, but has a shot to post slightly higher offensive numbers.
