The Flyers game is tricky because them winning would be potentially good for the Pens but I'd also dearly love to see Montreal miss the playoffs.

I guess I'll just count it as win/win either way. I'll be happy with either result.

Man losing the last game could be really really helpful but it would also be sweet to see Sid drop a deuce on the Caps.

The problem with bigger guys that don't end up making an impact seems to be more of an issue of not continuing to work on skills, rather than skating specifically.

Guys like Tangradi just got used to bullrushing guys and winning puck battles by brute force and you can't rely on just that at the NHL level. As long as bigger guys don't create offense by superior physicality and other guys doing the work and nothing else, average skating wouldn't scare me off.

From watching Harding highlights, Martone at least puts himself in good positions and has a + shot.

I like that he’s been a captain at various levels, a young one too. I don’t really think you can project leadership, or should scout or draft for it, but it probably shows he says and does the right things behind the scenes, including working on his game.

He seems a lot like McGroarty in that respect, but with much higher offensive upside.

Boston isnt locked in yet. They are currently 4th simply because their season is over.

Flyers 5th but move up to 4th with a loss to Buffalo. A win against Buffalo and they can drop to 7th behind Sabres and Bruins.

Seattle 6th if they lose to the Kings tonight they are 5th. Highest they can get is 5th with a Flyers win at Buffalo. Lowest they can go is 9th with a win and others losing. Seattle has the most to lose by winning tonight.

Buffalo 7th. Drop to 9th if they beat the Flyers and Pens/Ducks don’t get two points.

Penguins 8th. Drop to 9th with any points and Ducks not getting more. Pens can get as high as 6th with a Kraken and Sabres win in game 82 + loss to Capitals.

Kraken and Flyers have the most to lose by winning.

Not including the possibility of lower teams winning the lottery of course.
 
You just know Minnesota is gonna win in a shootout. That's how Fleury's RS career has to end.
