I don’t think his potential is all that high. His skating isn’t great and he already is NHL size. I don’t see a lot of room for growth in his game. Add in the selfishness/IQ issues, there are better options.for Carbonneau it seems the biggest negative is that he tries to do too much and won't be able to force things as much at the NHL level. But I think those are easily coachable issues, and by virtue of having NHL linemates he's simply not going to be a puckhog. I can't imagine him being so clueless as to not use his linemates. I admit I didn't know much about him until recently, but Carbonneau's potential and how he would fit into our team is very enticing.
