He's in that vein, it's a fair comparison style wise, Sam Bennett as well. Any toolsy 2-way center with a good motor, really, that's his game. Trocheck is my personnal comp, at the same age it's real similar.

Any reason why? High motor, high skill, beyond the injury I don't really see what's not to like.

I'm the exact opposite. Team Bear all the way. He's arguably the most NHL-ready and has the tools to slot in any line. Cootes' skating is a major concern to me

He just exists on the ice, dime a dozen WHL guy who will never be a difference maker. Gallagher minus half the skill when I watch him.

I'm pretty sour on most W guys in general, it's such an inflated league. Next year when MacKenna and the talent bolt for the NCAA, it will only get worse. 100pt guys are going to look like studs, but there is going to be such a weak talent pool , points will be so easy to get.

If he's any of those 3 would be a great pick for Habs
