That would add much needed bite to our coreWould you be fine with this?
Who is most likely to *fall* to 16 and who would you pick earlier among the guys ranked 18-25?

Move up, if necessary to be in a position to draft him. However, never overpay or overreach. It always ends up biting you in the ass, whether in team building in the NHL or anything else in life.Give me Brady Martin.
I think this year the value chart would be different. I see top 10 picks as having significantly more value than all other picks. From 11 to 30, the difference is minimal.
I think you're right. Based on those values, we could trade bot of our top picks and land Desnoyers.I think this year the value chart would be different. I see top 10 picks as having significantly more value than all other picks. From 11 to 30, the difference is minimal.
If Dachs health can stay up he is a top 6 forward. I find this comment a little disingenuous. For 3 consecutive years, Montreal traded at total of 3 x 1st, 2 x 2nd and a 3rd for bottom 6 forwards. It won’t be any different this time around.
Keep the picks are draft well.
Dach is often injured from his lack of work ethics which probably led to the weight gain, not being in shape and not taking his rehabilitation and physiotherapy as seriously as he should. If Dachs health can stay up he is a top 6 forward. I find this comment a little disingenuous.
His 82 game average is 37 points -16. He’s not a Top 6 forward. Way too inconsistent. If Dachs health can stay up he is a top 6 forward. I find this comment a little disingenuous.
Taking an average when he has the injury history he has doesn’t work. When players come back they’re not back 100%. And the degree of injury he has had can take up to a year to get back. He needs a solid season of health to show his valueHis 82 game average is 37 points -16. He’s not a Top 6 forward. Way too inconsistent.
Those are my 2 picks.Would you be fine with this?

Then you want his most recent season where he was -29 in 57 games and on pace for 32 points? Come on, what are we doing here. He is 24 years old and it’s excuse after excuse. Newsflash: he’s never going to be healthy. He’s incapable of it.Taking an average when he has the injury history he has doesn’t work. When players come back they’re not back 100%.
