Prospect Info: Draft 2025 Habs your on the clock

Draft picks. And Trade Values.

I think this year the value chart would be different. I see top 10 picks as having significantly more value than all other picks. From 11 to 30, the difference is minimal.
I think you're right. Based on those values, we could trade bot of our top picks and land Desnoyers.

For 3 consecutive years, Montreal traded at total of 3 x 1st, 2 x 2nd and a 3rd for bottom 6 forwards. It won’t be any different this time around.

Keep the picks are draft well.

Thoughts on Carbonneau?

I like his Anderson-like powerful skating with some offensive ability but I haven’t seen much.

His 82 game average is 37 points -16. He’s not a Top 6 forward. Way too inconsistent.
Taking an average when he has the injury history he has doesn’t work. When players come back they’re not back 100%. And the degree of injury he has had can take up to a year to get back. He needs a solid season of health to show his value

Habs will have the structure of a trade prepared pre-draft. I have no doubt about it. It's possible they don't pull the trigger on the deal if someone they want is available (I hope Martin).

The "we have a trade to announce" decision is one that will be made on the draft floor.

If Dachs health can stay up he is a top 6 forward. I find this comment a little disingenuous.

There's also a first that came out of nowhere. I'm guessing it's Dvorak ? But that's previous management. Not all firsts are equal either. In any case, this management at least has made all kinds of moves. They trade players for firsts. They get paid firsts to take on contracts. They move up in the draft of they feel it's worth it. They trade firsts for players they value. Not all moves will work, but the reasoning behind the moves will likely eventually result in a solid acquisition. It was actually working with Dach until Tinordi destroyed his knee.

Then you want his most recent season where he was -29 in 57 games and on pace for 32 points? Come on, what are we doing here. He is 24 years old and it’s excuse after excuse. Newsflash: he’s never going to be healthy. He’s incapable of it.

I like Nesbitt at 16th if guys like Bear, Lakovic, aren’t available. A 6’4 left handed centerman who can play physical and good around the net.

The guy I would want most is Martin but he clearly won’t be there. Maybe they trade up to get him but we have no idea how high he could go.

Bear with his injury might drop a little to around 12-13 but not 16. One of my favorite too.
