Kinda feel like with Nurse, Dubas is waiting for Bowman to back himself into a corner with the cap. I don't expect him to pay significant assets for Nurse and would be stunned to see him to pay more than a 3rd

I'm skeptical as to Dubas' actual interest in Nurse. Maybe I'm projecting my own desires for them to run far away from him.

That said, Dubas is absolutely the type to follow the concept of not interfering with your opponent when they're making a mistake.

I think you're definitely projecting there.

I don't think Dubas is going to offer a ton for Nurse, but you're definitely just hoping he doesn't have interest in Nurse because you don't want him.

Somebody give me a potential Pens trade, in or out, nobody is talking about. Knowing Dubas, the move he makes won't have been on anyones radar.

Yes. If there is a Karlsson trade, Ottawa makes sense as a destination because we know he'd waive his NMC to go there. The bigger question is whether Ottawa values him and feels they need to add at RD or at least rebalance their pairings.

Well, we have to use some cap space somewhere and we have a pretty full roster. Maybe there is a guy on the last year of a deal who isn't going to be resigned and Dubas trades for him with an extension?

Detroit probably want Yurov instead of 22nd. They really need to do something about centre if Larkin goes and Yurov is the best shot at that Minnesota has to offer, unless Minnesota want to offer JEE at which point they need to keep Yurov and hope he's a 2C. Only way they'd want the pick I reckon is if there's a three way where someone's giving Detroit a really good C and Minnesota need to give that team a bunch of assets... but even then, I think that team might prefer Yurov to 22nd.
