Dude is toast.

Doughty got huge minutes in all situations on a playoff team, and played great at the 4 Nations.

I'd rather Doughty mentor our next generation of defensemen than Karlsson.

Fair. But f***, we're not even in the playoffs, and the Oilers are kind of known for having some other worldly offensive players that could make Slavin look silly.

I'd do this. EK65 would be more entertaining & King's aren't doing anything in the next few years anyway.

Doughty's buyout according to cap wages is only 3.67 million. That's very tempting as well.
