I never said we would win. Simply stated who knows what would have happened.
If I was a Oilers fan I'd be laughing at the Canucks right now.

Silovs played lights out and kept you in a number of games throughout that series. A few stinkers doesn’t change that.
And clearly a Demko that is not the same as before doesn’t either. Enjoy your season.

I think the Ian Clark situation would be included in this discussion if Demko really does want out. If another org was to find a way to have the Canucks and Clark agree to a contract termination, the acquiring team could make a play for Demko and be pretty confident that Demko would be able to turn his performance around.

I can see teams giving Demko a shot but no one is going to put all their eggs in 1 basket with him. He can't stay healthy .

I’m gonna assume this was taken out of context. I’d bet he’s not happy cuz he can’t stay healthy. That’s not the Canucks fault.

Difference being that this is spiralling so much for the Canucks (at least the online discourse) that the scadenfreude is getting bigger returns. It's a comment on the overall craptacular situation more than the typical Halak, Ryder, and a 2nd.
Doug Maclean is past retired man, I heard the show today. He's borderline incoherent, albeit I find him funny in small doses.
This is a total nothingburger. Demko is also a vault and says nothing to anyone, and would not use Doug to out his frustrations.

update:- Just re-listened to the podcast (link in previous page). He says that he heard a unsubstantiated rumor that Demko is not that excited to be in net right now.
Apparently to the OP of this thread, that translates to , "Demko not happy in Van" lol

I'm not being facetious, but is there something to certain American players not wanting to play in Canada at this time? M. Tkachuk wanted out of Calgary... there are rumors his bother may be traded by the Sens to an American team (a lot of Rangers chatter)... and Miller and Demko in Vancouver? Probably nothing but...
