It would be funny if all of this is about Duchene instead of Stone.

I know Stone is the local boy (and the better player) but wouldn't it make way more sense for the Jets to pick up what would be an elite 2C rather than another RW? I know they said recently that they are happy to go into the playoffs with Little at 2C, but picking up Stastny last year tells a different story. Little's production is up a bit from last year, but not the point where they should be turning down Duchene.
Would be crazy if Chevy pushes all in and grabs both somehow.
Cody Ceci.Jets fans are gonna love Mikkel Boedker.
To add to this, isn't Stone the only player not practicing for the Senators this morning?
Edit: yep
I don't know why would Matthews? Maybe 5 year window in the rebuild and if things don't turn around he can be traded to a contender.why would stone sign for 5 years?
Because Matthews is an RFA and it leads to UFA with 4 RFA years in the deal.I don't know why would Matthews? Maybe 5 year window in the rebuild and if things don't turn around he can be traded to a contender.

Because Matthews is 21 and will have a huge payday at 26 way bigger risk doing that at 31I don't know why would Matthews? Maybe 5 year window in the rebuild and if things don't turn around he can be traded to a contender.
It would look like Kyle Connor + whatever is needed contract wise for Duchene + Stone.what would that offer even look like
I have a feeling this is a sign and trade for Duchene. Stone to sign 5 years in Ottawa per rumour.
So he's staying with the Sens???Also a rumour Stone has signed for 5 years with the Sens. Just going over bonus and upfront money
