Management Don Sweeney extended 2 years

I wouldn't even say the 2015 draft was his biggest failure as a General Manager.

13th overall:
Zboril was showing to be the defenseman he could have been, but injury derailed his career. They took him 13th, and he was the fourth defenseman off the board, where he was projected.
14th overall:
DeBrusk is a solid NHL player and fits in a top-six role on either wing

15th overall:
Senyshyn was a bit of a reach, but he was a great skater, and they knew another team (I believe it was Anaheim) was going to take him, and he wasn't going to be at their next pick. He was also starting to show some promise, and each time he got NHL opportunities, he would get injured.

37th overall:
Carlo - he's become a top shutdown defenseman in the league

45th overall:
Jakob Forsbacka-Karlsson showed great promise but ended up having family issues that brought him back home

52nd overall
Lauzon has become a decent NHL-caliber defenseman who can play solid middle pairing minutes.

75th overall
Vladar is a capable NHL backup goaltender who can be okay in the starting role on a short-term basis.

105th, 165th, & 195th overall
Jesse Gabrielle, Cameron Hughes, and Jack Becker played a combined two games (both by Hughes) and clearly didn't make it because of their own abilities.

DeBrusk, Carlo, Lauzon, and Vladar were all good picks. You can even put Senyshyn and Zboril in the "failure" category because of their injuries, but that's still 4/10 picks hitting—which is pretty freakin solid.
lol
Sweeney's scouting sucked so hard that after the 4th round he didn't bother anymore.
He traded away 5th on the 2nd draft day to Minnesota for the 5th in the following year.
Wild laughed all he way at Sweeney's stupidity as they drafter Kaprizov.

Bruins could have ended up with

Barzal, 80p center
Connor, 1st line winger with a couple of 90p seasons.
Chabot, a top pair D
Kaprizov, a franchise player

Just for fun, who in NCAA football does BU and BC compare to?
Well, if you're going to call those two the SEC of hockey then there's close to 10 other programs that can also make that claim and if any conference can it's the Big 10. Seems pretty silly to compare the sports anyhow.

Congrats, after years of merely joking about it your post has, in fact, made me the Joker.
