Don Granato watch?

Haven’t the Sabres gone through several coaches with this Dahlin led core? Maybe it’s time to keep the coach and trade some of the core?
Don't think I'd call three several. Especially not when he only had housley for a year when he was fired (was there 2 years before Dahlin) and then Kruger who isn't a coach. Or are you suggesting Housley and Kruger were good coaches and the team was the problem? Dahlin hasn't had a shot with a proven structured coach.

Actually three is several. Imo it’s time to shake up the country club and trade Dahlin. The Sabres would get a huge return and that could change the direction of their club. Imagine the clubs lining up! Stating the course ain’t working.

So you do think Kruger and Housley were/are good coaches then? Because it's Dahlin's fault.

You are right we should trade Dahlin, then we will be good. Just like when we traded Eichel for a "fortune" and Reinhart and let Ullmark go. Clearly the coaches weren't the problem because they all have been wildly unsuccessful since being traded.

I don’t think I said the Sabres being terrible was Dahlin’s fault, did I?
I’m suggesting that with Power and their other young core pieces trading Dahlin wouldn’t be such a big loss and the return for him could fill in holes with veterans and make them a lot better.

You keep telling Sabres fans to trade Dahlin. Why couldn't we trade Power and get the same massive haul?

I would trade Power first.

I don’t think the Sabres will get a haul for Dahlin. Given his cap hit that starts next year.

How many coaches do they need to go through before they start trading one of their thousand draft picks and prospects for competent veteran players and goalie?
Sure we will get ROR, E.Kane, Lehner in big trades where we give up a lot of draft capital and turn it around fast.....Tim Murray.

Come on, man. They could have made the playoffs easily last year if they just acquired a goalie. They didn't and now their losing culture has stayed in place and they can't even get out from behind the lowly Habs.

Berube is a significant tier above Evason. In the playoffs Evason is a deer in headlights, has never won an NHL playoff series. Berube's style is designed for the playoffs and he has won the Cup. He knows how to game plan for a whole series and adjust along the way. If I were Buffalo's management I'd be talking to Berube to gauge his interest in coaching again this season. He is going to have offers.
