It depends on what you mean by “address what he said and did”. The last negative news he made was in early 2021 (the fight and political tweets). Since then he’s just been an ordinary pro hockey player, minding his business.
No, he needs to wash away his sins publicly at the altar of sacrifice before he is deemed safe to frequent or discuss with.

I'm totally lost on the dunking on DeAngelo thing? So I looked at his history, he said something very inappropriate stuff when he was 17 or 18? Is this something that deserves a lifetime ban?

And then he punched Georgiev after playing poorly and saying something to him? Avs fans would probably buy out his jersey if that happened today

And without going there, he supports a political party 70%? of NHLers do but is vocal about it? Is there more I'm missing? Honeslty everything negative I'm reading is just mentioning what he said as a 17 year old or reddit calling him scum for supporting Trump, is there more to this?

Haven't you heard, if your personal views are anywhere right of center then half of society thinks you are a terrible human and deserve to have your life ruined forever.

The more I hear about this Dom guy, the more he sounds like a total clout chaser. This is the moron with the "model" that's pretty much terrible every year right?

This is truly the most hilarious thing I’ve read in some time. What an asshat this guy is.

Why the f*** did he even accept in the first place if he wasn't ready to accept that kind (and by "that kind", I mean non life-threatening backlash with very little financial backlash to speak of) of backlash?

It just makes him look spineless. And it's not like he absolutely need more visibility.

I really don't care about DeAngelo, who is made out to be a significantly better player than he actually is due to reasons that have nothing to do with hockey, but he's a significantly less problematic co-invitee than ... say, Matt Cooke as far as I'm concerned.

A crazy person who went to a country who is invading another country with all they got, does not need to be interviewed or "dunked on" everyone who has half a brain understands what a clown that guy is.
That's a skill issue.
