At the risk of reacting emotionally after tonight's loss - No I don't.

High pressure regular season games indicates no. Historic playoff performance indicates no. The constant line juggling game to game, shift to shift, especially a mere 5 games before the playoffs doesn't inspire much confidence. The latter suggests he has no idea how to use the tools Dubas has provided him.

Haven't been able to (to enough of an extent) thus far. The upcoming series against Tampa will provide him with another kick at that can.

I think it’s safe to say that if they can’t get it done yet again this year, there’s core issues that extend way beyond the bench. The stars need to deliver when it matters. It’s been half a decade and they’ve done nothing.

Keefe is not in the running for the Jack Adams but he is a solid coach. Any failures will more than likely not be his fault. This team has choked every single time it was on the line regardless of who was coach. Keefe needs a fairly long leash.

I wish he’d give Lilly a lineup spot every night and break up with Kerfoot though. Get Holl and Kerfoot off the f***ing team please

As tough a guy as Keefe was as a player, unfortunately he's lost that edge as a coach at the NHL level, given the culture the current GM has fostered here in Toronto.

He's pretty much a baby-sitter at this point and knows the players can get him fired in basically the snap of a finger if they wanted to, similar to Babcock.

And at the same time he's basically a puppet master for an experimental analytics department that couldn't devise a way to beat the Columbus Blue Jackets in a best of 5.

So yeah, there's a lot going against him, and I'm not usually one to harp on coaches of the Leafs (it isn't an easy gig), but it's hard to really compare him to real coaches of the past who actually had a semblance of control on the team.

I don’t actually mind Keefe though not a big fan either. I have noticed on occasion when the camera is on him that he definitely looks like the hamster has fallen off the wheel.

Has he ever given anybody any reason to trust him during a playoff series?

He's the man that decided to put Nylander at center in a series deciding game against Columbus after he had played him at wing for the entire season

That is still one of the stupidest and unnecessary decisions I've ever seen from any coach
Good decision making under pressure is vital, he hasn't shown that
