Halak went full LOL mode in this game. Mistake after mistake. But 1 game doesn't define a player.
Do people still believe Halak isn't a world class goalie?

Not sure why people are bringing up Halak as a source of the Blues playoff failures.
First off, our problems were not in the net. We realized this with the Stastny/Lehtera signings, and giving Elliott a three year contract.
Secondly, Halak never played beyond two playoff games in his tenure here in St. Louis.
So to those even espousing this, you literally have nothing to go on. It's another "what if/what could have been."

Halak is a good starter, only thing keeping him from elite is bad stretches that last a little too long and affect his confidence. If he can fight through those periods I would put him in top 10. Showing a couple of solid playoff performances would go a long way as well. He really never got the chance with the Blues due to injuries. I thought we should of kept him over Elliott but no worries as Elliott is playing pretty good as well. I hope he goes deep in the playoffs and gives Isles fans something they have not seen in awhile.
