IIRC the Jets record in their last 14 playoff games is 2-12. That can't instill confidence
If the Leafs win the cup you owe me and if they don't I owe you. What is the wager going to be exactly?
I like cash but if you want to do charities, DU Canada would work.If the Leafs win the cup you owe me and if they don't I owe you.
Ideally, a donation to charity would be best but if you want cash that is fine.
I don't care what happened last year , that's in the past.
I thought it was itching for your money

Deal! Is DU ducks unlimited?I like cash but if you want to do charities, DU Canada would work.
Deal!I’ll take a charity bet at even odds on a “lasts longer” bet on Winnipeg against Toronto — whichever team plays the most playoff games this year wins.
Let me know the stakes and your charity choice and we can iron it out. My choice is the Project Limelight Society, a charity which provides funding to underprivileged East Vancouver area youth to participate in the arts.

I don't care what happened last year , that's in the past. The Jets have made a believer out of me with the incredible season we have had this season. The playoffs are a different game i know but if you don't have confidence in them after the season we have had so far then i don't think you ever will.
They finished 15th for goals scored last year, right now we are 3rd in the league. As a matter of fact we have almost scored the same amount of goals as last year already. We had a brutal PP last season, this season we are second overall. We have different coaching from last season and a couple of new players and Perfetti and Samberg have both gotten better from last season. But ultimately if you want to think the Jets are shit as you always do that's your prerogative, i choose to think this is a different team from last season.Didn't they have a incredible season last year? 110 points. Jennings trophy. Plus they set a record for most goals allowed in a 5 game first round playoff series. Are they that much better than last year?
don't disagree things were bad and the Jets organization let it fester for to long. i've heard this is why some players (including UFA) did not want to sign here during that time frame. however, i don't think the no-push back, no effort etc. applied to him against Vegas. Actually, i don't think effort was really ever a question with Wheeler, effectiveness - yes. But the question of effort applied moreso on his 2 primary linemates during that era. is that on Wheeler?Yes, I'm probably being unfair to him for that one - but he set the tone for so long, and the team did turn around dramatically when he was pushed aside and then jettisoned.
I really think last year was just a perfect storm of bad things happening and everything snowballing into an unrecoverable disaster.
Jets needed to score some goals that series.
How many did they score the last 4 games? 7? 8?
I do sense this team is harder working than last years and has the ability to over come adversity plus is more resilient. The emergence of Pefetti and Samburg cannot b under estimated. They finished 15th for goals scored last year, right now we are 3rd in the league.
