3 teams that found a QB by trading up. They not only were lucky to find franchise QB’s, but future HOF’s.Bills traded up to get one. Chiefs traded up to get one. Ravens traded up to get one.
Steelers literally could've drafted Lamar Jackson, but drafted Terrell Edmunds instead.
There have been numerous opportunities for them to draft one. The one time they decided to draft one was Kenny Pickett, which was like drafting EJ Manuel in the first.
Ben also won a SB without him. He had plenty of years with Big Ben, prime AB, and prime Bell to just get blown out in the AFC championship.
Mike Tomlin has a huge say on the roster & who they draft. That's common knowledge. He has the most pull in that organization. It's his roster. Not one that was just given to him without any of his input.

One big talking point this week will be that Bernard, Milano, and Taron Johnson missed the Ravens game earlier this year, Rapp went out mid-game, and the depth DTs are completely different now than they were earlier in the season. So my two big takeaways was:
#1. Being able to run against an elite defensive line.
#2. Milano being effective as a spy and in coverage (and against the run)
I think this is the second big game (the lions being the other) we have shown that we can run the ball and stop the run. Given, Lamar presents problems that Denver doesn’t, if we can keep them off the field and keep our defense fresh, we are obviously going to have a better chance to beat Baltimore.
Denver has a better defense than Baltimore does. Hopefully we have a similar performance against them.
They need to resign him to a two year dealI may need to get myself a Hollins jersey. That man's celebrations arr hilarious. He's a trip.
A healthy defense going into the divisional round? That sounds so foreign to me.One big talking point this week will be that Bernard, Milano, and Taron Johnson missed the Ravens game earlier this year, Rapp went out mid-game, and the depth DTs are completely different now than they were earlier in the season.
It will be interesting to see if that makes the big difference that it should.
I wouldn't say that he dominated. But, it seemed to be his best game so far this season. So, if he's peaking now, that is huge.A healthy defense going into the divisional round? That sounds so foreign to me.
I'm intrigued to see the tape in Milano. Did he dominate? I didn't have a good vantage point to follow him closely.
Yes. He looked very close to the Milano of old which is huge for the playoff run.I wouldn't say that he dominated. But, it seemed to be his best game so far this season. So, if he's peaking now, that is huge.
Seemed to have his burst back. Spied Nix most of the game and will likely need to do the same this week.I wouldn't say that he dominated. But, it seemed to be his best game so far this season. So, if he's peaking now, that is huge.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. Never change, Jets.Arthur Smith the favorite for the Jets job per Garafolo
If they never changed, they would have brought Rex back.BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. Never change, Jets.
I find it strange that Halifax have a team
If true, that's hilarious. Guess they weren't going to let the GM make the choice of coach if that's the case.Arthur Smith the favorite for the Jets job per Garafolo
I'll be very disappointed if he's not brought back. His locker room presence alone is worth the 2.5M he's making. He's been awesome in the run game and on ST's. 5 TD's too. Thank god we didn't re-sign Gabe. They need to resign him to a two year deal
