I suggest you put down the bottle, the Hawks are sending the Rangers SFA. The Hawks are helping the Rangers rectify their cap situation, not the other way around.

If you want Davidson’s help you pay for it, he’s not going to pay the Rangers for the privilege. As someone has already mentioned, the Hawks are not going to eat $15m in cap just to move two mid 2nds into the backend of the 1st. There will be better uses for the Hawks cap space available to them.
