If you're watching social media the parade in Argentina is madness. People are actually hopping into the parade bus

Wow he jumped off the bridge and missed the bus 😱

I would love to be in the middle of that.

Nope, not me. I don’t like being around that many people and not having an easy way to bail if something goes wrong. I was in the mass of people right outside the Verizon Center when the Caps won and I had to fight off panic at times when the crowd got too tight. My fight or flight instinct has become stronger over time given my prior line of work and large crowds is definitely something that triggers it.

But, yeah, if you didn’t have that to worry about then this seems like an insanely fun party to be a part of.

Oof for United. Liverpool swoop in and steal their target.

When healthy I’m not sure how they get all those attacking players on the field but they can cross that bridge when they get to it. It will be interesting to see where ManUre turns next. I guess the Benfica striker who replaced Ronaldo in the Portugal team.

I’ve been eagerly awaiting news on Gregg Berhalter because he was out of contract on 1/1/22 but this was not what I was expecting. This is none of anyone’s business and for someone to try use it against him for personal gain speaks more about that person than it does Gregg. The USSF in their statement slips in at the end of their statement that they’ll announce who is leading the USMNT in the coming days but it reads like he won’t be back. I was no fan of him as a coach but all of this is bizarre and sad.

Very shitty of someone to try and kneecap him with some shit like that from when he was 18, especially since he and his wife clearly worked it out and got over it.

JFC what is wrong with people.

But they’re saying they never threatened him. This is insane. Makes US Soccer look like a joke and puts Gio in an impossible spot.
