WJC: Disappointing uniforms!

I love this tournament, I love this game and Iove this country. The red and white and the Maple leaf! What fashion designer got involved and included black in the fist place? This year has gone overboard in my eyes. I have noticed a pattern involving the shoulders that all teams seem mandated to follow although, once again, Sweden remains dedicated to their national colours. Is it corporate bullying involved here? Is anybody with me in longing for a dedication to our national colours and eliminating the addition of anything else (black etc,)

Canada's jersey are not ones I'm a fan of either.

I actually love Switzerland's jersey and think that's way more how Canada's should have been. It's slick, stylish and simple.

I'm not a big fan of black on Canada's jersey, the pants are fine and the all black Canada jersey was great but overall I'd like to stick with just red and white.

I don't like how Canada always adds black to their uniforms. Canada's colors are red and white, they should accept it and go with it. You don't really see other countries adding extra colors to their uniforms.

why not use the Olympic jerseys instead ??? instead of new jerseys every year use the olyimpic jerseys for 4 years. that way they can use the time to improve the designs. use the same jerseys in all international competitons.

To my eyes, this year's Canadian jerseys look really good, especially the red one. I was pleasantly surprised when I first saw the jerseys.

Please no. A corporate or governing logo has no place on a national jersey.

I'm one of the few who never liked and never understood the love that many have for the Swedish jerseys.

I have always liked Germany's uniforms, they kind of look mean in some sort of way. I get wibes from Iceland in the mighty ducks movie when watching Germany play, guess it's because not many teams have black in their uniforms.

Sweden has a clear identity with Tre Kronor, I think that's what people like the most about it. Just a classic jersey.

Germany's black jerseys are the best national jersey IMO (but then again I've always loved black and yellow.)

I don't get the recent obsession of adding black to Canada's jerseys. Aside that, the Finnish jerseys feature the logo of the Finnish Ice Hockey Federation which looks quite cheap to me. Just replace it with the actual coat of arms.

The best jerseys are undoubtedly those of Germany.

To me the most striking feature for Canada national team was always white helmets with red uniform. It looked beautiful, it looked different because you never see white helmets with dark uniform in the NHL. Still never understand why they wear black helmets now even with white jerseys and never cared about their uniforms since

Its by no means an eyesore and it looks good/decent at first glance. But it's a boring and unimaginative design that looks really weak when compared to the other teams jerseys.

I really didnt like these jerseys and dont understand why theyre so popular. They quite simply look like a company logo instead of something to represent a country.

I like the new jerseys this year and the Olympics jerseys MUCH more.

I really like this years sweater. I want one.
