Did the Rangers ever have a mascot? What do you think would be a good concept for one?

And Montreal didn’t have one until the Expos left.

The Chief was an unofficial mascot, now it's dancing Larry. NY tough.

Sat next to the Chief one night in the Greens. He wasn't in his seat very much, too busy circling the concourse doing his war chant.

Another night I saw an Islander fan punch the Chief in the face. He was bloodied but his spirit wasn't broken.

That was George. He did the dance first, then Larry asked to join in and took it over eventually.

My dad had seasons in the old 407 for years, i grew up around those dudes.

My condolences. They might be good dudes, but that dancing shit was/is so cringe. As is the Potvin whistle at this point.

I was Yankee crazy back then, but I had zero recollection of this. I just read on wiki that Dandy only lasted a few weeks, however & was retired quietly when Munson died. Which makes sense why I have no memory of him.

I kind of like being a fan of pro teams that don't have a mascot or in the case of football, cheerleaders. (Rangers, Yankees, and Giants.)

I don't remember any Munson looking Yankee mascot and I was big into the Yankees back as a Little Leaguer.

You are correct. It was 2011-12. I never saw her after that season.
