First thing I thought when I saw his statement. It's Torts time in Dallas.

Oettinger drove the bus that got them to the ECF and then Deboer decides to run him over with it.... what a clown.
Sleep deprivation FTWWell, it would make sense for DeBoer to run him over if Oettinger drove the team to the ECF and not the WCF.
Didn't expect all this for game 5. Nill has his work cut out for him this offseason.
Impossible to say how well teams match against each other. Not that crazy to think Avalanche or Jets could have beaten Oilers.Getting owned against the back to back WCF champs when nobody else in the West would compete with either isn’t that bad.
Tbf Lehner was Deboer's broken clock is right twice a day moment. That dude deserved the poor treatment.Don't forget what he did to Lehner
But by the same token, isn’t he undefeated in game 7’s?DeBoer sucks. Sixth Conference final loss in a row, with three different Orgs. Players gotta go out and play the game, but you can't tell me his coaching sets them up for success.
Every time he gets near the end of the Dance he gets outcoached. No adjustments, whining to the media every game, called a timeout and looked mostly limp trying to pump his team up. He's the common denominator for teams choking, Vegas fired him and then beat him the next year on the way to their Cup...lmao
Maybe he should go coach the Canes, seems like their conference finals futility is equally matched.
So he is actually a good coach. Has any other made more than 3 during that time? This isn't even taking account it's the 6th straight conference final DeBoer has lost as a coach too.
As he should. If you constantly getting your team to the top 4 teams left, it's not just about coaching mistakes in the end. Its the players as well and the fact that you are playing good opponents. No, I think DeBoer gets fired early next season. But wouldn't be surprised if he was fired soon.
Probably gets a job quickly though.

Dallas did well, but that's not enough. I think DeBoer has proven his system can't beat the Oilers for 2 years in a row now. Time for a change. Maybe they need follow Vegas and wait until Cassidy is fired, replace DeBoer and win the Cup.
But by the same token, isn’t he undefeated in game 7’s?
