What’s the league record for largest shot differential in league history? That has to be close to it.

As far as I can tell, the 1974-75 Buffalo Sabres outshot their opponents by a net +10.9 shots per game. That calculates out to +872 shot differential over an 80 game season (which is how many they played back then).

Going into tonight we had a net +18.2 shots per game. Projecting that over 82 games gives us a +1492 shot differential.

I say we do it.
