I'm going to have to try that cause Iove ground pepper I put it on everything, had it on my swiss cheese omelette this morning and I also like pumpkin pie.just a twist or two on top
I would do:I think you're missing the point...the point was moving Mercer back to wing. If the assumption is Mercer is better at wing... Holtz simply isn't better than Mercer as a RW option.
Maybe Zetterlund? But that's your only option really.
You want to force Mercer at center solely for the purpose of getting Holtz in the lineup....when the staff did exactly that the last game and obviously didn't like Mercer at center.I would do:
Tatar-Nico-Zetterlund
Bratt-Mercer-Holtz
Palat-Haula-Yegor
Boqvist-McLeod-Bastian
Nothing will be pretty without Jack, but I’d spread the wealth.
I would be comfortable putting him with an elite play driver. Last year he centered Bratt and Johnsson for a stretch (CF 55%, 60% xGF, goals 13-9).You want to force Mercer at center solely for the purpose of getting Holtz in the lineup....when the staff did exactly that the last game and obviously didn't like Mercer at center.
I actually forgot Rask was in two finals as a starter and the one finals I remembered was 2013 against Chicago in the lockout season.Yes Rask (backup) is a winner too, but Niemi is the only starter. Rask lost both his finals.
Great for a pub quiz, who are the Finnish born goalies that have played in the Stanley Cup finals.
I believe the right answer is
- Kiprusoff (CGY)
- Markkanen (EDM)
- Rask (BOS)
- Niemi (CHI)
- Rinne (NSH)
Do i forget someone? I dont think Raanta played at all in the finals for Chicago in 2015.
Good memory. Pekka Rinne is just too good right now.saros
Did he actually play or just backed up?saros
Like Boqvist returning. I was expecting Holtz to get scratched again so dont really have any opinion on it.
I saw him play the Pelicans, He’s a player who is very smart and has nice touch with the ball. He gets more rebounds than he should because he has good positioning. He has tremendous wingspan even if he isn’t that strong or fast or athletic.Enjoy, Markkanen is having a monster year
Did he actually play or just backed up?
Edit. I did think about Saros but thought he only backed up. He did relief Rinne when Pens beat Preds 6-0, so you are absolutely right @njdevils1982
I'm not sure if Raanta technically has a cup ring or not, but I guess he does? I remember when he said he wished they would lose so he could go back to Finland sooner, and I RIPPED him for that at the time and said that I hope he didn't take a cup ring if they gave him one, as he couldn't have cared less to be there.
Rask definitely has a cup, but he was the backup to Thomas for that playoffs. I'm not even sure if he played in relief in the playoffs that year or not?
May have been true in the first few games after Bastian's return from injury.I think the BMW line has been better the last couple games but the usage is the biggest problem. They get overplayed and relied on too much cause couple years ago they were elite at what they did. For whatever reason Ruff thinks its a shutdown line eventhough they get pinned so often. Especially at home Ruff uses them in a very dinosaur coach kinda way.
Yeah they had a pretty good game against the Kraken, wish they had a single other good game this yearMay have been true in the first few games after Bastian's return from injury.
In the game against the Kraken it was them doing the pinning - especially in the second period.
There is a reason they are usually deployed following goals; immediately establishing play in the offensive end and gaining momentum.
Those are completely different roles. Was hoping to see Boq in for wood..... Not holtz.
And it won't start until 8 pm. booo-urns.
Not exactly the same, but I put a sprinkle of Aleppo pepper flakes on lots of desserts. Even something like a simple ice cream can be jazzed up with a flavor that's not just sweetness.Ground pepper?
This is exactly how LOSER Martin Jones got his name on the cup.Lots of people get rings, that’s up to the team who gives them out.
And yes, Raanta did take his, thank you very much.

Former Blackhawks G Antti Raanta reflects, gets his Cup ring
Antti Raanta hadn’t even gotten to the visiting locker room at the United Center when Blackhawks vice president Al MacIsaac pulled him aside. “He came to me when I came through the hallway and just said, ‘I have something for you,’” said Raanta, who got his Stanley Cup ring from MacIsaac. “It’s...www.nbcsports.com
Raanta didn’t get his name engraved on the Cup though, there’s rules for that.
Back-up goalies get on the Cup (as a roster player). You’re right, Rask never played and is on it.

like the later start tonight... about to toss a homemade shepherd's pie into the oven
Those are completely different roles.
I know... But its just been Wood has been so bad, it doesnt matter the role doesnt match anymore.
