I would have been mad if we lost this in regulation though and believe me, there were too many times where it looked like we were gonna give up the go-ahead goal with 10 or 12 minutes left in the 3rd period.

Even a couple of times after that, but we at least got out of our end for most of the second half of that period, but we also generated nothing ourselves. I think we went like the last 7 minutes of regulation without a shot? Up until the last minute or something maybe?

Hey idiots in Minnesota, are you gonna play Fleury next game? Or more than 50% (or even 50%) of the remaining games, so he can embarrass himself and tank your team points because you don't know he's bad yet?

They scratched worthless Reaves AND Fleury didn't play! This must be the first time this team made two good decisions in the same day all season long!

Minny did have a few looks over the second half of third, but the devils had plenty of their own too I would say. I thought after the tying goal they actually had a decent rest of the third. Like I said earlier I kinda saw it as bad first, good second, 50/50 third

Because they’ve been losing and are clinging to a playoff spot and a loss tonight against us would have been devastating.

Actually winning and losing these games that go past regulation feels very important psychologically and emotionally to a team and its fans. Think of how many OT wins we’ve had lately and how that’s skewered our feelings about our club in a positive direction. If say we’d lost a couple of those OT games and this tonight, I wouldn’t want to think what the mood of this board would be like.
