Clearly the runner up to the MVP. Mcdavid i get of course but wow is this team different without 86 in the lineup. It’s scary

I know I harp on it, but the in-zone defense makes it so hard to break out and so easy for the other team to keep 4 or 5 guys in to try and win the puck back.

Hughes really masks how hard it is to get the puck out because he’s magic.

Hischier isn’t even trying to lead offensively lately . He’s playing deep defensively and it looks like he’s expecting NJ to turn it over on the d zone exit . Something is off with them as a group as other have noted.
