Kasper could be good but I don't think he'll ever be that elite 1C. Maybe him and Larkin as 2 good 1Cs is enough but for that to be the case you'd probably need elite wings and outside of maybe Raymond or someone they pick in the future I don't see it. Like I think they'll end up working there way to being a playoff team but I don't see a contending core there without adding at least 2 elite forwards on top of Raymond panning out as one.

Yeah, like I said they probably got until 25-26 at the earliest before they start being a consistent playoff team. Maybe even 26-27. They're probably in the shape we were in probably in 2018 or 2019, only I don't think they have even a Nico Hischier forward.

I don't really see the makings of a contender as of now, but you never know in 5-6 years from now.

He's definitely one of the longest standing SCRUBS to stay on one team right now, Maybe the longest standing.

I know he was a high pick, but he's gotten a lot of years here. It would almost be like us still having McLeod in like 5-7 years from now.

I'm not super surprised he's still in the league, but am super surprised he's still on the Sabres after all these years.
