Don't have a lot of thoughts on that period other than:

Blais needs a bunch more game action. He's absolutely not ready to be a on a first line right now. Maybe not good enough to be in the lineup just yet. That's why he needs game action.

There are only 2 NHL defensemen in the lineup.

Is it an issue that Gauthier had a more effective period than everyone not named Zibanejad?

Gaut has the size and the speed. Shame he doesn't have the hands.

He just needs to shoot and stop trying to deke. And if he crashes the net shoot it up top.. not sure I've ever seen him do that .
