Why is it a wasted season, it's not like he dominated junior last year and won everything, he was really good, he has a chance to compete for a memorial cup this year, winning creates winners. I've never heard of anyone being ruined by staying in junior at his age.

It’s preseason. If you know you have a spot on the roster the goal is to not get hurt.

The rest of the roster is AHL fodder or kids getting a taste.

We could lose every game by 50 it wouldn’t matter.

I would like to see him get faster and more engaged without the puck. It's pre-season so maybe it's just game shape/stamina.
