seriously people, learn to appreciate the little plays and each game individually and not how many points your team has. losing seasons are a lot easier that way.

Some of us do have the 'Thrasher perspective' with our other teams (cough Mets grumble Jets) lol.

We have been desensitized by the lack of skill and scoring touch. It's easier to accept the repurcussions of these flaws.

No use in playing him over 20 minutes. Don't be surprised though with some of the whacky crap we've seen like the Kremlin Kone playing over Fayne the other day.

I'm not. Lou better make good on this, and give us a good product next year. And he better do everything in his power to re sign Elias before he goes to UFA. It amazes me that a top 4 most important player in team history, and a lifelong Devil is not offered a contract during the season. Couldn't this be done in a day or two? Well it might cause a distraction like us finishing in 12th instead of 10th I guess.

More like LOL at Poni in the lineup at all especially at the expense of Henrique. Not like it matter, but yeah it is amusing. Poni was the WORST 1st line LW we've had this season other than Tedenby's game long stint. Maybe Josefson's sporadic stints were worse. Poni has to be the worst 1st line LW aside from those two, and they just took some shifts.

Pretty cool that Chico said all the way back then ''I feel he's gonna be a legend''. We know Chico can lay it on pretty thick for certain Devils players, and over exaggerate but he was right that time.

I can't stand Lou's stupid negotiation rules. The team is eliminated from the playoffs, start ****ing talking contract with Patrik Elias already! He is the best forward in Devils history, I think he deserves a little more respect.

If he actually walks this summer, its on Lou. You can't let your players get that close to free agency without negotiating. Its the same story every year with our top UFAs and its getting really ****ing tiresome now

Lou made that exception for Marty and Stevens years and years and years and years ago. He even did it before Marty became an RFA because he was afraid someone might offer sheet him that Summer.

I don't understand how anyone can say that is a good method. Then when he goes to UFA who knows? You might have to match a stupid offer like we did with Salvador. Then you could wind up having to pay Patty $6 million again, and for possibly 3 years when he may have taken $5 million a year for 2.

I do not blame Lou for Parise whatsoever because Parise could have signed long term if he really wanted to rather than a one year deal. Though hopefully he at the very least gets to work when the season is over, and not on June 25th or something.
