That's the kind of play where I'd like to see Wood drive to the net. He isn't likely to score from a sharp angle like that, but if he uses his speed to cut across the defenseman he's likely to draw a penalty or even get free.

Not sure if it was injury or healthy scratch, but either way, if he's not playing down there, he definitely shouldn't be up here.

He helps with the breakout, which is pathetic ever since. Not sure if that's a characteristic of Hynes no-event hockey or not, but we looked a lot better with him in October and November.
