Hope Fitz will resign Murray, will protect Subban and will sign Larsson. May be will take back Kulikov. Even that will not change whole picture in future. Devils needs in a couple of really good RD prospects. Better be more.

And we hardly need in a good backup.

Definitely. Gave props to Bahl and also made a point that it was important for him and the team to put a bunch of better games for home fans.. Made that point twice.... Appreciated the crowds that make it..

That's the bottom line. It's not the right thing to do, but Ruff and Fitz just can't stomach playing the other two unless they absolutely have to. We need one of these mid round goalie picks to pop at some point, it's getting pathetic. Other teams seem to be fishing good goaltenders out of the draft regularly and we just keep whiffing.

impressive strength too - I can't remember who, but he got in a one on one battle at the net corner with one of the Flyers vets and just tied up the guys stick and rode him out of the play, and this at a point when it was a one goal game. How nice to see that. To have a guy who has the tools physically to do that nonchalantly.

Liked the hit on Patrick too. Bahl's not even fully grown, or rather filled out to adult size. Just one game but he couldn't have looked better.

I like the way we've handled him. Let him mellow in Bing. No need to rush him.

I doubt Couturier and Giroux could quit on a season if they tried at this point. I hate the Flyers but they are both great players I have a ton of admiration for. yeah, plus i was worried before the game cause someone mentioned he's not even looking good in the AHL and thought the worst would happen tonight, oh he's on TV right now

well the Philly fans can't really have cared for this effort. once again they spot us a multi goal lead and even then they didn't show what you'd exactly call a lot of intensity or focus for the rest of the game. A flash for a bit before Boqvist took the life out of them.

Switching topics or rather free associating but Boqvist really looks like a keeper to me. He's so young but the size and reach, his hands and raw shot, vision. He's got the tools to be force for us at center ice. A very promising player who has surprised me this year. Ruff has shown good judgment playing him, he's come a long way this season.
