Hey, the Canes have lost 3 straight against Detroit, Boston and Buffalo, scoring 3 goals and giving up 13 in that span if it makes you feel any better (It doesn't).

one of the worst games i’ve been to, just disappointing to see virtually no effort except for a 5 minute flurry that got shut down by a bad goal. team barely showed up in the first and just straight up quit in the third, all against a shitty team with half an ahl roster.

They, Canes, can afford to no-show, though. Not that I think no-showing is good for mojo long-term, they at least have nothing to play for besides keeping up their efficient structure.

Devils are not even locked in (probably will be), and cannot afford to play like shit.

Wrecking our "star" goalies confidence right before playoffs seems on brand for this team. Whether that was the goalies issue today, can't save anything, or overall team core issue.... whatever the reason, way for Marky and team to setup an ugly display of no confidence in themselves. Friday will be telling if this team folds like a cheap suit or not.

I'll believe the Canes no-showing now translates into the playoffs when I see it. They didn't have much to play for in the 2023 regular season either and were still dialed in for the postseason. They certainly haven't done it for the last three months the way we have though.

With our luck Markstrom will go belly up regardless, that's not hard to imagine with a sub .900 save percentage anyway.
