Devils get hit with too many "fluke" goals like that this season, just kills games.

The 2nd goal was shitty like that, this 4th goal was shitty fluke, and Luke losing and edge for the 2v1 going back was flukey as hell.

That's 3 "flukes" in one game. And of course, Marky couldn't come up big for any of them. At some point players gotta take some responsibility. Luke and Bratt with terrible games today, Marky not great either (maybe not terrible but not good)

Luke made a bad play on that third goal, full stop. He needs to be sharper. And he put Bratt in a tough spot on the first goal.

The second one was all on Marky, and honestly he should have had the 4th too. He's just not dialed in.

The bottom six is just atrocious too, let’s not forget. They’ve been getting pinned in by a cellar team. It’s hard to have faith that they can mount a comeback in a game like this when half the forward lines are straight up bad. This is why it’s gonna take a heroic effort for them to beat the canes.

I find it hard to believe that a team that’s routinely lost to bad opponents all season took this game for granted. I think they bubble quality team and as such they are prone to being really inconsistent no matter who they are playing against.
