    What This Means for You:

The ''Turtling'' we've done the last few minutes looks a lot like what we were doing earlier in the year, which was extremely effective in November and December, starting with those two Florida games.

It's no doubt harder to do that with the depleted personnel, but at least we're getting it done in a game we need to get it done in, against a team we need to get it done against.

Will someone on this board please tell me I'm not alone in thinking Sorensen (Hawks head coach) looks like an old Tomas Tatar? Like Tatar in about 15 years from now?

My friends off the board agree, only after I pointed it out.

I've been saying that since the first time I've seen him.

I guess. They did some kind of ''Construction'' or whatever you wanna call it with the software.

They told us it was going down that day, but it wound up being down for like 36 hours.

They are not turtling this 3rd period. You are blind if you don’t see them spending the entire period transitioning into the Hawks zone.

You have some good insights many times but your need to bitch just to bitch really takes you down many pegs on here. Its a shame, really.

I will say this, we actually did have a decent record and win streak against non-playoff teams for quite a while, before that Pittsburgh game (I think it was?) which I think that may have been our first loss against a non-playoff team in like 7 games going back to before the break.

Our record against non-playoff teams over the last stretch was pretty good until about 1.5 weeks ago. But we just haven't beaten a team in a playoff position in quite a while, other than I think Columbus. I think they were in a spot for both the games we beat them recently.

The Oilers too.
