GDT: Devils vs. Blackhawks, 7:30pm

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

Did Eddie actually sign an autograph for Kenny back in 1984? That was actually a cool story.

This feels like a scrimmage now.

Feels like NJ is doing lightweight forechecking defense.

Not complaining because Chicago isn't intensely playing, but....

Imagine having guys wildly swinging their sticks at floating pucks in traffic.

It's only not dangerous right now because there's a rule in place preventing it.
Oh and there is a rule in place right now it’s called high sticking 2-4-5 min penalties. So I doubt players are going to start swinging their sticks like baseball bats while surrounded by players. 1 it’s not really effective way to score 2 it’s not physically possible 3 risk of a penalty super high

Horrible end to the period again. That seems to be what the 3rd usually looks like when we have any kind of a lead.

Sick shot by Mercer on the PP goal. But that shouldn’t have been a pp hawks got f***ed

That's been going on for years. I will never understand why we get hemmed in our own end in the final minute so often.
Honestly, I don’t think it’s really been going on for years, but I think we have PTSD from a number of last minute in the period goals over the last couple of years. There were even quite a few of them in the 22-23 season.

But for the last 4-5 games it’s been exceptionally bad, outside of the Ottawa game where we were trailing 3-1.
