So I doubt players are going to start swinging their sticks like baseball bats while surrounded by players. 1 it’s not really effective way to score 2 it’s not physically possible 3 risk of a penalty super high

Honestly, I don’t think it’s really been going on for years, but I think we have PTSD from a number of last minute in the period goals over the last couple of years. There were even quite a few of them in the 22-23 season.

But for the last 4-5 games it’s been exceptionally bad, outside of the Ottawa game where we were trailing 3-1.
