And yeah people are going to be pissy about the hire because we've had Laviolette, Gallant and even the shiny new toy Gronborg paraded in front of us for months and instead after months of anticipation and speculation they hire someone they literally could have hired the minute Hynes was fired. It's called a letdown. And no I don't believe any of those guys were gonna come here but it was out there, backlash is what happens when you publicly swing and miss on your top choices.

1). I saw some posters referencing how Shero would of hired Dennehy and I wouldn’t have any issue with that. The moment he was allowed to do his thing, Bing went on a war path. Additionally, Merrimack has always over achieved.

2) My concerns are shifting away from the coach/GM (Ruff/Fitz?) to the meddling owners. I wanted Fitz but the rumors are concerning. First we herd they had a disjointed and disorganized searching process. Now, we’re hearing they are basically usurping Fitz. WTF. This makes the Shero firing look suspect. I just hope they allow the new staff to operate with some freedom because the last 5 years didn’t exactly go according to plan.
