Devils are in top-10/12 in P%. Why we just can't be happy?
Because if you are happy, and it goes away, it brings sadness. It's easier to just constantly stay mad all the time. No surprises.Devils are in top-10/12 in P%. Why we just can't be happy?
I mean, there's a pretty long list, but Sanderson was easy. Kid had everything but gaudy stats, so the only draft analysts who missed on him were people who (foolishly) consider offensive numbers the most important indicator for defense prospects. You also called Sanderson turning out the way he did. You saw that a mile away.
Devils don't need to be thinking trade yet. Devils are a solid 9-5-2 and playing pretty well, a lot of season ahead and no one is ready to sell just yet so the prices for any roster acquisitions will be high.Nemec sent to Utica. Right move, kid needs to play.
We shouldn't be trading him or Casey unless it's heavily in our favor, which i don't think that kind of trade exists.

His interviews when he first started in the league had a hysterical skate board vibeJ.Hughes always had fun and interesting points about the games, but after watching the last post game interview, I get the impression he has matured a lot from last season. He picked some really smart words there.
I know we're doing ok but I still want Dillon-Hamilton to not be a thing.
You are from the land where maybe they didn’t invent vodka but they felt the need to perfect it and you are asking why we can’t just be happy?Devils are in top-10/12 in P%. Why we just can't be happy?
No happy no cryBecause if you are happy, and it goes away, it brings sadness. It's easier to just constantly stay mad all the time. No surprises.
But surely we can be happy to participate in the improvement process? Especially when this process is obviously going well and moving in the right direction. I believe people who perfected vodka were pretty happy and passionate about the process, so I feel a kind of emotional and spiritual rapport with them. You are from the land where maybe they didn’t invent vodka but they felt the need to perfect it and you are asking why we can’t just be happy?
I did the best I could for Pavel Barka… I just couldn’t scratch up the support. My dog Pavel Barka got a vote for some county position. He didn't win.
Then how do you expect to land Anderson from Montreal? I mean they’ve turned down multiple firsts despite being knee deep in mediocrity and trying to rebuild“Nemec”, “Casey” and “Trade” shouldn’t be in the same sentence.
Except if that said sentence is “We shouldn’t trade Casey or Nemec”.

Its good considering they are still feeling out the system. Dec/Jan will be the key months. Those months are the hardest to keep up energy and some of the teams that play a high energy style tend to struggle.Devils are in top-10/12 in P%. Why we just can't be happy?
Probably because most schools will be off. Like when we played at 1 on MLK Day.great game last night made key saves when they had to be made. the stars played how they should've. will have a lot of games like these with the mid to lower level teams in the league. now i just want to see them come out and play hard against a playoff caliber team. sure the islanders are a playoff caliber team but really want to see how they do against the panthers bolts and hurricanes next week.
one of them should absolutely be available for a trade. what one that is? when would they be? i dunno but its a great problem to have for sure.
off topic but why is the devils rangers game on 12/23 (monday) being played at 1pm?
That's a good point. In general, I would not describe the current devils system as highly energy-intensive. I hope that mutual understanding will increase, and the energy level will not decrease critically. Its good considering they are still feeling out the system. Dec/Jan will be the key months. I think it's something worth considering.“Nemec”, “Casey” and “Trade” shouldn’t be in the same sentence.

I mostly agree. I don't think either are completely untouchable, but I'd like to keep both.“Nemec”, “Casey” and “Trade” shouldn’t be in the same sentence.

Foote?
Let’s give him a look.
Yep. His production has been pretty good on an awful team. He can probably do okay with Tatar and Dowling. At least compared to MacDermid.Foote?
